Catherine Blomstrom is a Columbia University structural engineering graduate with an extensive hands-on background in real estate renovation. Prior to forming Catherine Blomstrom Carpentry, her renovation and construction work was the rehabilitation for rental and resale of single family housing in the Midwest.

Catherine has lived in New York City for twenty years, worked as a design consultant, professional engineer, and manager of major public works projects over the east coast. She was for several years the Chief Program Coordinator of a multi-billion dollar New York City construction agency.

Since 1992, Catherine has done the complete renovations of a number of investment houses. She retains her own beautifully restored Victorian home in Lincoln, Nebraska.
